It’s been a while since Toronto has had a sports team to get excited about. There is the Argos who are terrible and do you know how much you have to suck to be terrible in the CFL? There is the Raptors who are still recovering from losing their star player/mascot Chris Bosh. Then there is the Maple Leafs the laughing stock of the NHL. The team who gets just close enough to making the playoffs without making them and in the perfect spot to get a mediocre player out of the draft. Now we have The Toronto Blue Jays who haven’t won the World series since 1993 which in compared to the Leafs winning anything, not too bad.
Toronto has always been known as a hockey city, but that is beginning to change. The Rogers Center was sold out for the home opener and there is a buzz in the air. Why so much excitement? With addition of the extra wild card spot this year, the Jays are a young exciting team with all the tool to not only grab a wild card spot but win the division (Yeah I said it). For the series in Cleveland the Jays fans drowned out the home town Indians fans with there cheering. We can finally believe in a sports franchise.
Jose Bautista is coming off two home run titles and is one of the best batters if not the best batter in MLB today. J.P. Arencibia is improving behind the plate, and we have Brett Lawrie for the entire season this year. Not to mention our bullpen has improved significantly from last year. They proved that in our first game going into 16 innings and not allowing anyone to score. Ricky Romero may have had a rough start to the season but they still pulled out the win, and Brandon Morrow only allowed one hit.
This is our year Toronto, it’s time to believe!

A lot of teams are being thrown around as Peyton Manning’s next stomping ground like Arizona, Denver, and Tennessee. But the one I think he would fit perfectly into is The Miami Dolphins and here is why.
Money - Now at this point in Manning’s career I doubt money is going to change his mind. Although Miami is the team that is willing to pay him the most as well as sign him before even seeing him work out.
Reggie Wayne - Manning’s go to guy from the Colts is also on the free agency market, and has expressed he would be willing to sign with Miami if Peyton does. He didn’t say that about any other team and Miami seems to be the only ones willing to bring both Wayne and Manning.
Receiving Core - Miami has some of the best receivers in the NFL. They just aren’t showcased as much because of the fact that Miami hasn’t had a franchise QB in years. Brandon Marshall caught four touchdowns in the pro bowl game. Even though it was the pro bowl that is still hard to do for a receiver. Anthony Fasano is a very underrated tight end plus add Reggie Wayne to that group.
Defense - Now we all heard the saying Defenses wins championships and in Miami’s case our defense is the reason we won a lot of our games last season. We have a top ten maybe top five defense. So if Peyton were to come to Miami all the pressure wouldn’t be on the offense to win like Tom Brady in New England.
Weather - Now Manning started in college in Tennessee. Then he went to the indoor Lucas Oil Stadium in Indy. So Peyton wouldn’t be used to playing in bad weather. Who has better weather then Miami?
Schedule - A lot of people don’t realize Miami next season may have the easiest schedule out of any other team. We have Arizona, Seattle, St. Louis, Buffalo, Jacksonville, Tennessee, Oakland and even play Indy who wouldn’t want to see Luck vs Manning?
Proving Whose #1 - Manning would be in the same division as Tom Brady so now we would get Brady vs Manning twice a year and taking the Miami, New England rivalry to a new level. Who wouldn’t want to see the two top QB’s battling it out every year?
Does’t Need To Buy A New Home - Peyton already has a condo in South Florida so there would be no need to pack up and move everything.
New Coach - With a new coach in Joe Philbin they would both be starting in a new organization and both work together in putting plays together. Peyton wouldn’t becoming into an already set system as we all know Peyton Manning is one of the best play callers in football.

Every now and then something comes around that makes you think… Really? Why? That right now would be Chris Brown supporters. These supporters are about as brain washed as the Westboro Baptist Church. They say it the situation happened so long ago move on. Really? He acts like his god’s gift to music, which of course he’s not. The fact is he didn’t just hit a woman, he beat her. In the police reports it says he continually punched her in the face and when Rihanna attempted to fight him off he began biting her, because nothing shows you are a tough guy then biting someone. He is nothing but a punk boy who never grew up.
The people who have taken him on like Jay Z, Miranda Lambert and most recently CM Punk have all made great points yet Brown chooses to have the same comeback each time. Saying they are just using him for publicity and then just plays it off. Come on Chris you are showing people you aren’t educated. If they wanted to use someone for publicity, the first person to come to their minds wouldn’t be Chris Brown. He recently tweeted “The confrontations that people continuously bring my way are very amusing. Cuz honestly, that shit is too time consuming to argue wit every person who has their own issues.” He is telling them to deal with their own issues? Hey Chris maybe it’s time to deal with your own it’s clear you have anger issues, from beating a woman to smashing windows at NBC. It’s time to grow a set and take responsibility for your own actions, and get better comeback because the same one over and over again is just like your music career.
Chris Brown supporters come on! Wake up there is a lot better music out there! I know you’ve had a lot of challenges to fight you for charity and you play it off once again as they just want publicity. So here is what you should do Chris Brown vs Gina Carano. She can kick your ass and you can still feel comfortable since you would be fighting a woman.
